The
existence of an ideal climate, making it possible to play
golf for more than three hundred days a year, and the
unstoppable development of many clubs with excellent facilities
for this sport, are the reasons behind the success of
the Costa del Sol as a landmark for golf lovers.

to these factors, the golf clubs permit the training
of professionals and the holding of competitions
throughout the year, allowing the Costa del Sol
to be chosen as the venue for several European PGA
tournaments and the designation of a club in this
area as the organiser of the first Ryder Cup match
held at a European venue outside the United Kingdom. |

Acosol
currently supplies recycled water to golf courses throughout
the Costa del Sol so it can be used for watering
these sporting facilities, where the good condition
of the greens is a basic need.
In
addition, there are applications for several more. For
some of these, work is being carried out to connect
pipes to the treatment plants that supply the clean
water.
