The integrated water cycle encompasses the collection, treatment, and distribution of drinking water, followed by the collection, purification, and reclamation of wastewater for reuse. In essence, this represents the complete journey of water: from its collection and treatment, through to its return to the sea or its reuse for irrigation and other applications.
